Registration is open for the third annual YorVoice talent competition to be held in March.

The Cultural Alliance of York County is accepting team submissions for its singing competition and talent showcase. Teams can have between one and 20 members and choose to sing with a live band, a capella or with pre-recorded music, according to a news release from the alliance.

The competition will have a panel of celebrity judges, and one team will be crowned the YorVoice champion, while another team will earn a "people's choice" award. Last year's champion was YCP Rhapsody, York College's a capella group, with PaperHeart, manufacturer Glatfelter's band, winning the people's choice award.

To compete, teams must submit a team registration and contribute at least $50 to the Cultural Alliance 2017 annual campaign. Forms must be submitted by Jan. 13.

The YorVoice competition will take place from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, March 25, at the Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center.
