The Dallastown Area High School Science and Engineering Fair will be open to the public in January.

The Science and Engineering Fair has happened at the high school each year for 57 years, according to a news release from the school. More than 100 student projects are registered for the event in 11 scientific categories.

Thirty scientists and engineers will serve as volunteer judges. Student projects will be displayed in high school science classrooms.

An awards program will be held in the high school auditorium at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29. Ribbons will be awarded, as will special cash awards from donors and local businesses.

The fair will take place from Jan. 27 to 29. The public can attend the fair from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28,  and from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29.
