Police: West York man raped 15-year-old boy multiple times

A West York man raped a 15-year-old boy multiple times, according to police.

Ernest Gross, 40, is facing multiple felony charges, including rape of child, statutory sexual assault and corruption of minors.

On Monday, a woman reported to West York Borough Police that she saw Gross with the victim, and both of them had their pants down, police said.

Police spoke with the victim, who said that Gross raped him, according to charging documents. 

Later, police interviewed Gross, who admitted to having a sexual relationship with the minor for more than three years, police said.

Gross is also charged with indecent assault without consent, indecent assault forcible compulsion and indecent assault of a person less than 16 years old, all misdemeanors.

He is at York County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Dec. 7 with District Judge Jennifer Clancy.
