Police: Man stabbed, car stolen in Spring Garden Township
Police are investigating an incident in which a 60-year-old man was stabbed and his car was stolen.
Spring Garden Township Police are seeking information about this assault and robbery incident, which happened at 10:16 p.m. Thursday in the 900 block of South George Street.
The victim told police he was walking to his car when the unidentified suspect asked for a ride. When the 60-year-old man refused, the robber pulled out a knife, stabbed the victim and took his car, police allege.
The suspect was last seen driving the car northbound on South George Street.
The victim was transported to York Hospital for treatment of injuries that were not life threatening, police said.
The suspect is described as an 18- or 19-year-old man wearing a gray hoodie.
