Police: 42-year-old man shot Saturday night in York City

A 42-year-old man was injured as a result of a shooting in York City on Saturday night, according to police.

York City Police responded to the incident at 8:50 p.m. Saturday in the area of Queen Street and Princess Street.

On arrival, police found the man, who had suffered a gunshot wound. He was taken to York Hospital, police said.

The victim is expected to survive, York City Police added.
