Northern York County Regional Police are investigating an armed robbery of a Dollar General in Jackson Township that happened on Halloween night.

The man robbed the store at 2100 Thistle Hill Drive about 4:50 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, the department said in a news release.

He displayed a black handgun and robbed the store of an undisclosed amount of money, according to the release.

Police stated he fled on foot and was picked up by a small beige sedan that fled the area north on South Lake Road.

No one was injured during the incident.
