A man is accused of providing the drugs that led to the death of a man in Fawn Township in September 2018.

State police said David Vernon Carraway gave drugs to Dylan Eugene Arnold on Sept. 15, 2018. Arnold died of mixed substance toxicity shortly after, according to court documents. He was 24.

Carraway, 23, of no fixed address, was charged with drug delivery resulting in death, drug possession with intent to deliver and criminal use of a communications facility. All charges are felonies.

Charging documents state Arnold coordinated to pick up drugs from Carraway at his home at the time in Delta on Sept. 15, 2018.

Police searched Arnold's phone and found he did not message anyone after the night of Sept. 15, 2018.

Arnold was found dead in the bathroom of his home the morning of Sept. 17, 2018.

Carraway spoke to police a few weeks later and admitted that he gave Arnold "dope" that night but said it was a small amount, charging documents allege.

Police said fentanyl and morphine were found among other drugs in Arnold's blood.

Carraway was arraigned on the charges Monday, Nov. 4.

As of Wednesday, Nov. 6, he remained in York County Prison on $250,000 bail.
