Coroner IDs man killed in Fawn Twp. crash

A Fawn Grove man was killed in a crash early Sunday morning in Fawn Township.

The York County Coroner's Office identified the man as 69-year-old Thomas Lachajczyk.

He was driving east in the 600 block of Main Street when his vehicle went into the westbound lane and hit a guardrail about 2:15 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, according to state police.

Lachajczyk, who was wearing a seat belt, died at the scene. The coroner's office said his death was caused by multiple blunt-force trauma to the abdomen, with the manner accidental.

A passenger in the car suffered minor injuries and was taken to York Hospital for treatment, according to state police.
