Police: Man stabbed in Spring Garden will survive wound
A York City man escaped life-threatening injuries when he was stabbed Wednesday morning, Spring Garden Township Police Chief George Swartz said.
The 24-year-old man was stabbed in the back while in the 600 block of Wheatlyn Drive, according to police, who said the victim was found lying on the sidewalk about 8:45 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2.
He was taken to York Hospital for treatment and is expected to be released in a day or two, Swartz said on Thursday.
The victim's name has not yet been released.
