Spring Garden Township Police are asking for the public's help in identifying two men who robbed a gas station convenience store Tuesday night.

Township police said in a news release that two men entered the A-Plus Sunoco store at 1300 Mount Rose Avenue about 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6.

One of the men jumped over the counter and pointed a gun at the cashier, while the other man stood in front of the counter, according to the release.

The two fled the store with cash and cigarettes, police said.

The man with the gun was described as a light-skinned black man in his mid-20s, about 5-foot-6, 175 pounds, with a shirt wrapped around his face like a mask.

Police described the other man as black man, about 5-foot-10, 200 pounds, with white Nike Air Force shoes, with a camouflage mask on and a shirt over his head. That man also had scruffy hair and a tattoo of flames on his right arm.

The department released surveillance photos of the incident on Thursday, Aug. 8.
