'I know where you live': Man accused of intimidating witness
A man is accused of showing up to a woman's workplace and threatening her after she identified him as someone making fraudulent purchases at various York County retailers, according to authorities.
On Tuesday, Oct. 9, almost two months after charges were filed, authorities took Mark Brandon Robinson into custody, online court records state.
Robinson, 30, of Atlanta, faces charges of intimidating a witness.
Alleged intimidation: According to Spring Garden Township Police, Robinson showed up on Aug. 8 at the Sunoco at 1300 Mount Rose Ave.
There, he confronted an employee and called her a "rat ass b—," officials said. Charging documents state that the employee had identified Robinson as a suspect in a case involving fraudulent credit card use.
He continued talking to her and told her, "Your name is on my paperwork. I know where you live," officials said.
Robinson had previously been a regular customer at the Sunoco, police said.
Charges for that incident were filed on Aug. 13, according to court records.
Fraud case: Spring Garden Township Police filed charges earlier in the year alleging that Robinson fraudulently used a Discover card and charged up to $10,000 with it in York County, including Spring Garden Township, Springettsbury Township, West Manchester Township and York City.
Video surveillance was obtained from different stores, and Robinson was developed as a suspect, police said. The cashier from Sunoco, according to authorities, identified Robinson through a photo lineup.
Charging documents state that the card was used between July 2016 and August 2016, when Robinson lived in the 300 block of Norway Street, York City.
On Oct. 9, Robinson was taken into custody during a pre-trial conference for this case, court records state. Those records state his bail was revoked.
His attorney, Korey Leslie, declined immediate comment.
Robinson was arraigned on his latest charges that night. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 23 before District Judge Jennifer Clancy.
