York City Police arrest suspect in fatal overnight shooting
York City Police have arrested a suspect in the overnight shooting that left one man dead in York City.
Zane Kenneth Senft, 22, was arrested on criminal homicide charges and taken into custody without incident, a news release stated on Sunday, Oct. 7.
Senft, who has no known address, is charged in the shooting death of Tyler Owens, 24, of York City.
Owens was shot at 1:37 a.m. in the 100 block of South Richland Avenue Sunday, Oct. 7. He was transported to York Hospital, where he died at 3:33 a.m., police said.
Police said Owens was the intended target, and that a targeted police response has been initiated in the west end of the city.

Police were not available for comment Sunday.
The York County Coroner's Office confirmed Owens's identity Sunday afternoon and said an autopsy would be performed at 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 8, at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
