Southwestern Regional Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the thief who stole $11,000 in items from a repair garage in North Codorus Township over the summer.

The department said in a news release Wednesday Oct. 3, that the business in the 1000 block of Jefferson Road was burglarized in the early morning hours of Aug. 24.

Police say tools, rifles, and state inspection/emissions stickers were taken. Most of the tools were Snap-on brand tools and other equipment affiliated with a commercial garage, according to the release.

The rifles, police said, were .30-06 and .30-30 caliber.
