Southwestern Regional Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the thief who stole $11,000 in items from a repair garage in North Codorus Township over the summer.

The department said in a news release Wednesday, Oct. 3, that the business in the 1000 block of Jefferson Road was burglarized in the early-morning hours of Aug. 24.

Police say tools, rifles and state inspection/emissions stickers were taken. Most of the tools were Snap-on brand tools and other equipment affiliated with a commercial garage, according to the release.

The rifles, police said, were .30-06- and .30-30-caliber.
