Feds indict Etters-area man for bank robbery
A Newberry Township man already charged with armed bank robbery in Cumberland County has now been indicted in federal court for the holdup.
Brandon Davidson Black, 34, of Whisler Road, "did assault and put in jeopardy the life of another person" when he brandished a knife while robbing the S&T Bank on Market Street in Camp Hill, according to his federal indictment, signed by a grand-jury foreperson on Wednesday, Sept. 26.
Black took $2,823 from the bank during the Aug. 30 robbery, his indictment alleges.
Black also is charged in Cumberland County Court for the robbery and remains in Cumberland County Prison on $250,000 bail, according to court records.
Federal court records don't list an attorney for Black.
He is being represented in the Cumberland County case by defense attorney Katie Maxwell, who could not immediately be reached for comment.
Black was arrested by Camp Hill Police several hours after the robbery, court records state.
He is charged in Cumberland County with bank robbery, making terroristic threats, reckless endangerment and possession of a controlled substance, according to county court records.
