Conewago Twp. man accused of molesting boy
A Conewago Township man is accused of molesting a boy on several occasions, according to police.
Northern York County Regional Police say Jeremy W. Wise had the boy come to his room to watch YouTube videos and play video games, and he would then molest the child.
Wise, 37, is charged with aggravated indecent assault of a child, aggravated indecent assault without consent, corruption of minors and indecent assault without consent.
Allegations: In February, police spoke with the victim, who told them Wise would touch his backside when the two were in Wise's room, court documents state.
Wise would ask the boy to go to his room, and the boy would say no, but Wise would "beg" him, officials said.
Police say he would touch the boy on top of and underneath his clothing. The boy tried to get away, but Wise was too strong, officials said.
Wise told the boy not to tell anyone or he would get "really, really mad," court documents state. The boy told another adult who asked Wise about it, and he only responded to that person with a "blank look," according to authorities.
"He never denied it or anything," that person told police, according to charging documents.
Wise was arraigned on the charges Thursday, Sept. 20, and he remains in York County Prison in lieu of $250,000 bail. He does not have an attorney listed.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 13 at District Judge David Eshbach's office.
