State police are searching for the thief or thieves who stole three Gilbarco gasoline pumps from a Delta-area property last week.

The three gas pumps are valued at $15,000, according to a state police news release.

They were stolen from 906 Broad St. Extended in Peach Bottom Township overnight Sunday, Sept. 9, or in the early-morning hours of Monday, Sept. 10, state police said.

Some Gilbarco pumps are antiques, but not all of them are. State police did not say how old the pumps are.

The Sunoco pumps are owned by a 61-year-old man who lives in the township, police said.

The property is listed in online searches as being that of Oceanic Gas Sunoco. It is unclear if the station was open at the time of the thefts.

Attempts to call the listed number for that gas station were unsuccessful on Thursday, Sept. 13, as were calls to the Peach Bottom Township municipal building and its tax collector's office and home.

Anyone with information on the thefts or the whereabouts of the gas pumps is asked to call Trooper Ryan Kastner at the state police barracks in York, 717-428-1011.
