Three men made off with cash and prescription drugs after robbing the Walgreens pharmacy in Springettsbury Township earlier this week, police said.

The trio walked into Walgreens at 2350 E. Market St. about 2:20 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6, according to Springettsbury Township Police.

All three had their faces covered, and they demanded cash and prescription medications, police said.

The robbers fled the store on foot with pharmacy property, according to a news release from police, which didn't state how much cash or what kinds of medications were stolen from the store.

Police also didn't say whether the robbers were armed.

A phone message left at the police department seeking more information was not immediately returned.

The robbers were last seen running southbound after leaving the Walgreens, police said.

Anyone with information about the robbery can call Springettsbury Township Police at 717-757-3525.
