Two York Township brothers are wanted by police, accused of badly beating a third brother after their mom stepped out to buy food, according to police.

Once arrested, Damien Eckert, 27, and Devin Eckert, 25, both of the Crestview Mobile Home Park in the 2700 block of South Queen Street, will be charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and two counts each of disorderly conduct, according to charging documents.

York Area Regional Police noted in those documents that they were unable to find the brothers to arrest them.

Officers were called to a convenience store up the street from the Eckerts' home about 9:10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, where they found Danielle Eckert and her son, Brandon Eckert, who was covered in blood, according to charging documents.

Brandon Eckert had blood coming from his mouth and left ear, police said; he also had blood on his face, both sides of his head, his arms and his legs and marks on his chest and back.

He told officers he couldn't remember what happened, except that his brothers beat him up, documents state.

Disturbing call: Danielle Eckert told officers she left the home for a few minutes to buy food and got a phone call in which she could hear Devin and Damien fighting. That was when she came home.

When she got home, she witnessed Damien and Devin Eckert attacking Brandon Eckert, including shoving his head through a window, according to police.

Danielle Eckert tried to separate her sons, but Damien and Devin Eckert pushed her to the ground, causing her to suffer a small abrasion on her arm, documents state.

"Danielle stated that both Devin and Damien are on probation and that they have been drinking and smoking marijuana," charging documents state.

Officers advised Danielle Eckert to take her son to the hospital for treatment.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Damien or Devin Eckert can call 911.
