Hanover Police said they have arrested one person for a robbery in which a man was lured to the borough by a woman he met on a dating app but are still looking for a second robber.

Derrick A. Degroft, 25, of Littlestown, was arrested Wednesday, Aug. 1, according to court records. He was arraigned Wednesday at the county's central booking unit, where his bail was set at $30,000, according to court records.

As of Monday, Aug. 6, Degroft was being held in York County Prison.

He is charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, theft, simple assault and false imprisonment, court records state.

According to police, a 24-year-old Red Lion man went to the 400 block of Broadway in Hanover about 11:30 p.m. July 17 to meet up with a woman he'd spoken with on a dating app.

While waiting for her to arrive, he was approached by Degroft and a woman, police said.

After having a brief conversation with the woman, the Red Lion man followed them to the rear of a nearby home, where Degroft assaulted him, documents allege.
