A York City man is accused of stabbing a man in a home Wednesday night, according to police.

Daniel Alberto Felix, 21, allegedly stabbed a man he argued with while inside Felix's home in the 500 block of Vander Avenue on Wednesday, July 25, court documents state.

Felix is charged with aggravated assault.

Allegations: York City Police were sent to Felix's home at 7:20 p.m. for a report of a fight, charging documents state.

According to officials, Felix came home and immediately got into an argument with someone in the house. Felix then attacked the victim, and the victim and another person attempted to restrain him, police said.

That's when Felix got a knife from the kitchen and threatened the two with it, court documents allege. 

The two tried to disarm Felix, but in doing so Felix cut the victim on his hand and hip, officials said.

Felix tried getting a second knife, but the two were able to restrain him, charging documents state.

When police arrived, they spoke to Felix, who told them he had been attacked first and was trying to defend himself, officials said. He also did not tell police anything about a second knife, court documents state.

At the scene, police saw the victim's injuries, a broken knife on the ground and a second knife on the ground as well, police said.

Felix was taken to the county's central booking unit for arraignment. He remains free after posting $10,000 bail.

Felix does not have a number listed, and he could not be reached for comment. He does not have an attorney listed.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 9 at District Judge Linda Williams' office.
