Fairview Township Police allege Bush's girlfriend suffered a bloody nose and broken elbow while being assaulted by Bush about 5 p.m. Saturday, June 9, in their home.

When officers arrived there, she ran down the driveway toward them while screaming for help, police said.

According to charging documents, she told officers she slapped Bush in the face after catching him snorting drugs in their bathroom with her friends.

Bush then threw her on a bed, placed a pillow over her face and tried to suffocate her, charging documents allege.

She said she was able to break free after her children came into the room and started to scream, police said.

The woman told police she ran down the hallway, but that Bush caught up with her and punched her in the face, causing her to fall and strike her elbow, documents allege.

It's unclear if Bush has retained an attorney.

He allegedly told officers that his girlfriend slapped him in the face four times and said he pushed her to keep her from hitting him again. He also said that must be how she broke her elbow and got a bloody nose, charging documents state.
