Police are searching for two men who they say killed a Schuylkill County man in York City earlier this month.

On Wednesday, April 25, York City Police issued warrants for Brandon "Sticky" Dejesus, 28, and Chayanne "Shorty" Ramirez, 28, in connection to the April 15 slaying of Luis "Pily" Inoa, officials said.

Inoa, 27, of Shenandoah, was found with gunshot wounds at about 12:45 a.m. April 15 in the area of South Duke Street at South Street.

Police say Dejesus shot Inoa with a shotgun while Ramirez shot Inoa with a handgun from across the street. Officials said the two suspects knew Inoa and targeted him.

Once arrested, Dejesus, of the 300 block of Smyser Street, will be charged with homicide, aggravated assault, discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure and recklessly endangering another person.

Ramirez, of the 300 block of South Queen Street, will be charged with attempted homicide and aggravated assault.

Incident: Dejesus was in the area of the shooting around 11 a.m. the day before, and he exchanged words with a resident there over a past issue with that resident's family member, according to police.

He had come to the block in a Toyota and said he would come back to the area "to air it out," which police say meant he was going to "shoot up" the place.

Inoa and Ramirez were seen together in the area of the shooting, but they walked off and Ramirez went across the street to the side yard of a home in the 300 block of South Duke Street, charging documents allege.

Inoa was taken to the ground by one person, and Dejesus approached with a shotgun and a bright backpack, which had shotgun shells in it, police said. He pointed the gun at a nearby resident, who then fled as Dejesus fired, according to officials.

That resident went inside his home and then heard gunshots outside, police said.

Others nearby also heard gunshots and found Inoa on the ground, dead, documents state.

According to police, Ramirez fired at Inoa from across the street while Dejesus was shooting.

The person who took Inoa to the ground was not identified in charging documents.

Dejesus and Ramirez fled after the shooting, court documents state. Police say the mother of Dejesus' child fled with him. The woman was not identified, and it is unclear if she faces charges as well.

Dejesus' backpack, described as "child-size," was found near Inoa's body, along with red shotgun shells, officials said.

Dejesus, according to police, is a member of the Latin Kings street gang.

Police warn that both men should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about either man's whereabouts is asked to call police at 717-846-1234, or anonymously text "Yorktips" and your information to 847-411.

A cash reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of either.
