Coroner releases cause of death in York City homicide

The York County Coroner's Office has released the autopsy results for a Schuylkill County man killed in York City over the weekend.

The coroner's office said an autopsy conducted at Lehigh Valley Hospital on Tuesday, April 17, confirmed that Luis Inoa, 27, was killed by a gunshot wound to the torso, and the manner is homicide.

Police had been sent to the area of South Duke Street at South Street about 12:45 a.m. Sunday, April 15, for a report of shots fired when they found the body of Inoa with "obvious gunshot wounds."

Inoa, of Shenandoah, was targeted, York City Police said. He and the person who killed him knew each other, according to police.
