A man accused of stabbing a woman in York City was arrested Friday, according to officials.

The U.S. Marshals Service said in a news release that 27-year-old Kalvin Eugene Beady Jr. was taken into custody Friday, April 13.

York City Police say Beady jabbed at his ex-girlfriend multiple times, stabbing her once, on Monday, April 9.

Beady, of no fixed address, is charged with aggravated assault, making terroristic threats, simple assault, theft and harassment. 

Alleged stabbing: According to police, Beady arranged to meet at his ex's home about 10:30 p.m. Monday because he wanted to talk.

The two went up to her bedroom and were watching a movie when his ex asked him about his children's mother, court documents allege.

Beady became upset and starting yelling, and he pushed her down, officials said. Police say she tried to get away, and he began jabbing at her with his pocket knife.

He jabbed five to eight times, police said, and Beady told her he was going to kill her.

She told Beady she was calling the police, and he left, documents state. Police said he took one of her phones and two keys to the home before leaving.

Police arrived and found the woman had bruises on her right arm, scratches on the middle of her back and a small puncture wound in the triceps area of her right arm, charging documents state.

Charges were filed for Beady on Tuesday, April 10. The U.S. Marshals Task Force took him into custody Friday in the 500 block of Front Street, the release states.
