A Goldsboro man was killed when he was hit by a tractor-trailer Tuesday, Feb. 6, in Swatara Township, according to officials.
Swatara Township Police said Carl Hiester, 37, was struck about 7:30 p.m. on the property of Pitt Ohio in the 5600 block of Grayson Road.

Hiester, an employee of Pitt Ohio, was walking across a section of the parking lot when the tractor-trailer struck him, police said.
The driver is cooperating with police.
