The York County Drug Task Force seized heroin, cash and illegal handguns when they raided a York City home this week, according to a news release from the York County District Attorney's Office.

The raid happened the morning of Monday, Feb. 5, at 810 Wallace St., which is the home of Fernandino Rodriguez-Colon, the news release states.

York City Police and members of the task force found 20 grams of heroin, $1,300 cash and two handguns, the release states.

Rodriguez-Colon, 39, is prohibited from possessing firearms "due to his past criminal history," the release states, meaning he's a convicted felon.

The charges: He was arrested and charged with three counts of heroin possession with intent to deliver, two counts of being a felon in illegal firearm possession and one count of receiving stolen property, court records state.

York County spokesman Kyle King said the receiving stolen property charge was lodged because one of the handguns had been reported stolen.

Rodriguez-Colon remains in York County Prison on $200,000 bail.

It is unclear whether he has retained an attorney. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 13, court records state.

The raid and arrest were the culmination of a three-week investigation of Rodriguez-Colon, during which undercover task-force members bought heroin from him, according to the release.
