A woman who works for a York City pizza shop escaped injury when she was robbed of cash outside the business, police said.

She works for Papa John's Pizza at 901 S. Queen St., according to Lt. Matt Leitzel, who supervises the York City detective bureau.

She called 911 shortly after 8 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, to report she'd been robbed outside the pizza shop, Leitzel said.

While the woman was outside during her work shift, she was approached by two males wearing black ski masks and black jackets who robbed her of her personal cash, according to the lieutenant.

They ran off on foot after getting her money, Leitzel said.
