Springetts Police: Cocaine, stolen guns seized in drug raid

Officers seized cocaine and two stolen handguns during a raid of a Springettsbury Township home and arrested two residents on drug-dealing charges, police said.

Tyquan Mason Bethune, 19, and Jada Naki Saunders, 18, are charged with cocaine possession with intent to deliver, conspiracy to commit that offense and receiving stolen property.

Bethune remains free on $25,000 bail, while Saunders is free on $10,000 bail, according to court records.

Springettsbury Township Police and the York County Drug Task Force raided the home at 2223 Live Oak Lane on Monday, Dec. 4, according to a township police news release.

Seized: They found and seized cocaine packaged for resale, as well as drug-packaging materials, police said.

Also seized were two handguns, which had been reported stolen from Fairview Township and York City, police said.

A third person who was in the home at the time of the raid was arrested as well, police said.

Shawn Lamar Chance, 20, of York, was wanted on a York County bench warrant, authorities said.

A preliminary hearing for Bethune and Saunders is set for Tuesday, Dec. 19, before District Judge Barry Bloss Jr.
