Three 16-year-old Manchester Township youths are in York County Prison, charged as adults for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl at gunpoint after luring her away from the York Fair, according to police.

Kelvin J. Mercedes, of the 2500 block of North George Street; Andrew R. Miller, of the 600 block of Norman Road; and Daishon M. Richardson, of the 1000 block of Hearthridge Lane, are charged with rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, unlawful restraint and making terroristic threats.

They are in prison on $25,000 bail each.

West York Police Detective Michael Mendez filed the charges on Tuesday, Nov. 21, according to the office of District Judge Jennifer Clancy.

All three were in custody by Tuesday evening, according to West York Mayor Shawn Mauck. Two of the teens were picked up by police, and one turned himself in, Mauck said.

Charging documents state that a 14-year-old girl was walking around the York Fair with several friends on Sept. 16, when Mercedes, Miller and Richardson started following her.

The trio told the girl they wanted to "show her something," then led her off the fairgrounds and into a parking lot on Leonard Street, according to Mendez.

That's when Mercedes put a gun to the girl's head "and told her to get on her knees and 'suck his d—,'" charging documents allege.

Afraid she'd 'be killed': The girl was forced to perform oral sex on all three of them, according to charging documents.

"She stated that she did what they said to because she was afraid she would be killed if she did not do what they told her to do," Mendez wrote.

Mercedes, Miller and Richardson then led the girl to another business property, this one on Orange Street, police said.

Each of the three raped the girl, and they took turns holding her down, documents allege. Police believe one of the attackers took photos or recorded video of the rape, Mendez said.

Two of the rape defendants — Miller and Richardson — allegedly contacted her afterward, with Richardson telling her to "stop lying" and Miller sending her a photo of him holding a handgun, documents allege.

It is unclear whether Mercedes, Miller and Richardson have retained attorneys. The trio could not be reached for comment.

Their preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 11, according to court records.
