Coroner: York City man dies after hit-and-run

A 25-year-old York City man died Thursday, Sept. 14, less than a day after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash near his home, according to the York County Coroner's Office.

Harry Crespo, of the 600 block of Wallace Street, was struck around 10 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, according to a news release from Coroner Pam Gay.

Crespo died at 2:43 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, at York Hospital, according to the release.

An autopsy for Crespo is scheduled for 8 a.m. Monday, Sept. 18, at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown.
