No one was hurt when bullets struck a home in Springettsbury Township this week, according to police.

A resident of the 1200 block of Hillside Court summoned officers to her home just after 8 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, after discovering damage to the exterior of her house, according to Springettsbury Township Police.

Bullets struck her home sometime overnight Monday, and several shots were fired, police said.

Sgt. Brian Wilbur said detectives are still working to determine whether the home was targeted or whether it was shot at random.

The investigation is ongoing, he said.
