Police: Freysville man sexually assaulted toddler
A Freysville-area man is locked up on allegations he sexually assaulted a little girl for about four years, starting when she was as young as 2 years old, police said.
Jared James Wolf, 33, of Windsor Road in Windsor Township, remains in York County Prison on $250,000 bail.
He is charged with two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child and one count each of indecent assault and corruption of a minor. All the charges are felonies.
Wolf was arraigned Friday, Aug. 18, on the charges, which were filed by York Area Regional Police.
A girl who is now 6 years old told police that Wolf rubbed her genitals with his own genitals and with his tongue, according to charging documents.
Wolf also forced the girl to perform oral sex on him and told her if she didn't comply she couldn't have cake, documents allege.
Officer Scott Longnecker, who filed the charges, said that because of the girl's young age, police don't know the exact date that Wolf allegedly began sexually assaulting her.
Investigators estimate it began in April 2013 and continued until June of this year, documents state.
Wolf has not officially retained an attorney for the child sex abuse charges, according to court records.
In April, Southern Regional Police charged Wolf with making terroristic threats, strangulation, simple assault and harassment for an incident in Glen Rock, according to court records.
