Southern Regional Police seek hit-run driver who hit bicyclist in Winterstown

Southern Regional Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the driver who struck and seriously injured a bicyclist last weekend in Winterstown.

The crash happened at 8:50 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, in the 11000 block of WInterstown Road.

Police said the driver of the striking vehicle fled the scene, while the bicyclist was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.

The striking vehicle is believed to be a white 2008 to 2010 Toyota Highlander with passenger-side mirror damage, right-side fog lamp damage and possible fender or bumper damage, police said.
