York City Police seek shooting suspect

York City Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a York-area man wanted in connection with a shooting in the city Friday night.

Police obtained an arrest warrant Tuesday for Marcquan Way, 20, on charges of aggravated assault and attempted homicide, according to a police news release.

About 9:30 p.m. Friday, York City Police responded to the scene of a shooting outside a home at 129 E. Boundary Ave.

Police say Way shot Donovan Colon-Shaw, 25, of York, once in the leg and once in the hip. Shaw was transported to York Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the release.
