Springettsbury Police probe bank robbery

Springettsbury Township Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Tuesday afternoon.

Police were called to the Santander Bank branch on 1001 Haines Road at around 1:10 p.m., according to police.

Police say a man entered the bank and presented a hand-written note to the teller demanding money. The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of money and he left the bank on foot, according to police.

Then man is described as black, medium built, around 5-foot-7-inches tall, wearing a light-colored, long-sleeved shirt with dark-colored pants and an orange baseball cap, police said.
