In brief: Police say Red Lion man threatened daughter
A Red Lion man allegedly threatened to kill his daughter Saturday night.
Lawrence Karl Deller, of 640 Bethlehem Church Road, is charged with harassment, police said. Officers were dispatched to the house when Brianne Deller called 911, saying her father threatened to shoot her, according to charging documents.
Brianne Deller told police her father got in an argument with her, and as he advanced toward her, her mother Lori got between them. He allegedly pushed Lori Deller and threatened to get his gun and kill his daughter, according to documents. Police spoke with Lori Deller, who confirmed what happened, according to police.
Lawrence Deller told police the argument began when Brianne Deller told her daughter to go to bed and he asked Brianne's daughter to come sit with him, documents stated.
He said Brianne Deller told her child to go to bed again when he told his granddaughter to "come sit with someone who loves you," police said.
Police said they asked Lawrence Deller if he had threatened to shoot his daughter, and he said, "I should have." Police asked him again, and he said yes and admitted to having guns in the house, according to police.
Lawrence Deller was released on $85,000 unsecured bail.
