Police: Gunman robs Paradise Twp. convenience store
Police are searching for a gun-wielding robber with a "unibrow" who held up a Paradise Township convenience store early Tuesday morning.
No one was hurt during the 2:43 a.m. robbery, police said, and the gunman made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
He walked into the Rutter's Farm Store at 7680 Lincoln Highway, loitered near the store's refrigerators, then took a soda to the counter, according to Northern York County Regional Police.
That's when the man demanded all the money in the store's cash registers and pulled a handgun from his waistband, according to Lt. David Lash. The robber fled after getting cash and was last seen headed in the direction of Abbottstown, police said.
He is described as light-skinned, Hispanic, 5-feet-2, with black hair and a bushy "unibrow," police said. He was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, brown boots and a black baseball cap, police said.
Anyone with information about the robber's identity is asked to call police at (717) 292-3647, or leave a tip online at nycrpd.org.
