Let it snow: Could winter finally be here?
This winter has been... not very wintry.
Those hoping for a white Christmas, alas, were bound to be disappointed but Monday offered glimmers of hope for snow-lovers.
A passing snowstorm left a dusting of the white stuff across the region, prompting PennDOT to briefly instate a 45 mph speed limit on I-83 and other major roads.
The National Weather Service, meanwhile, forecast a chance of more snow through Tuesday as the thermometer hovered near freezing — although warm, sunnier weather's expected to return later in the week for New Year's Day.
