Police: Man shot in York City Sunday evening, third shooting within 24 hours in city

A man was shot just after 7 p.m. Sunday in York City, the third shooting within 24 hours, according to police.
At 7:14 p.m. Sunday, York City Police located a 30-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds in the 300 block of East Philadelphia Street, according to a news release.
The man was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive, police said.
The shooting followed another incident just before 3 p.m. when another man, 27, was found wounded in the 100 block of East South Street. And on Saturday, a 42-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound at 8:50 p.m. in the area of Queen Street and Princess Street.
