Police: 33-year-old victim in hospital for gunshot wound in York City shooting
A 33-year-old man shot in York City was taken to the hospital Thursday afternoon, according to police.
York City Police received a call for shots fired in the 500 block of North Pershing Avenue at about 2:52 p.m. When they arrived, they discovered the victim had been taken to York Hospital in a personal vehicle.
He is being treated for a gunshot wound and is in stable condition, police said.
Officers had not yet made any arrests in connection with the shooting as of about 5 p.m., and continue to investigate, according to a news release.
