A man was shot at the intersection of Butler and Manor streets in York City early Saturday morning, police said.

York City Police responded to the incident at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, where they discovered a man had been shot by an unknown person. He was taken to York Hospital and is in stable condition, according to a news release.

Police plan to release an update on the shooting at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7, the release states. The department is asking anyone with information to contact York City Police anonymously through York County Crime Stoppers at 755-TIPS or the York City Police tip line, 717-849-2204.
