State restaurant inspection app launched

A new app launched Wednesday will allow state residents to check local restaurant inspections on the go.

The state Department of Agriculture announced Wednesday, Oct. 2, that its new app, EatSafePA, will give users access to restaurant inspections all over the state.

Users can search by restaurant name or choose from a map of all establishments in a certain area.

The app will show past inspections and comments from food inspectors.
