Work on Interstate 83 near Mount Rose Avenue is expected to close a lane Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

The state Department of Transportation announced in a news release that the work will close the left lane on I-83 south near Exit 18, Mt. Rose Avenue, between 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25 and 6 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26.

Crews will be setting bridge beams on a new structure over Mill Creek near the exit, according to the release.

Northbound and southbound drivers could see slow or stopped traffic in the area, PennDOT said.
