Man killed in Windsor Twp. crash Monday morning identified
A Chanceford Township man was killed when he struck a utility pole in Windsor Township on Monday morning, according to authorities.
York Area Regional Police said in a news release that the man was driving south in the 2900 block Windsor Road when he struck the pole about 3:15 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5.
The York County Coroner's Office identified the man as 20-year-old Logan Glatfelter.
He attempted to negotiate a left-hand curve when the vehicle veered off the right side of the road and crashed, the release states.
The coroner's office said he hit a fire hydrant before hitting the pole. He was pronounced dead about 4:20 a.m.
Glatfelter was found dead at the scene. He was the only one in the vehicle.
His cause of death was blunt-force head trauma, with the manner accidental.
There will not be an autopsy, but routine toxicology was obtained, according to the coroner's office.
