The York County Office of Children Youth and Families is hiring, and the department will host a recruiting and information session for applicants to learn more about open positions.

CYF employees will be on hand from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, to answer questions and talk to potential applicants.

The information session will be held in the Beaver Street Conference Room on the first floor of the York County Human Services Center at 100 W. Market St. in York City.

As of Monday, July 29, there were four full-time CYF positions, including one paid internship, posted on the county's employment page.

The office is looking to hire two new child protective services caseworkers, one social casework intern and one office clerk. The caseworker job involves investigating child abuse and neglect cases, and ideal candidates are those looking for a career in social services.
