York City Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a suspect in an early-morning shooting on Sunday, Oct. 14.

Bruce Jermaine Murray, also known as BJ, will be charged with criminal attempted homicide and aggravated assault, along with charges related to the unlawful possession of a firearm, police said.

York City Police said Murray, whose address and age were not provided, shot a 31-year-old man around 1:15 a.m. Sunday outside Pandora’s Box, 466 E. Market St. Police have not released the name of the victim, who was taken to York Hospital.

In a news release, York City Police said they initiated a "targeted law enforcement response" in the east end of the city.
