Jennifer Foxworthy believes you are unstoppable, and she wants to make sure you believe that, too.

Foxworthy, 45, a U.S. Navy veteran and native of York City who now lives in Lusby, Maryland, will bring her motivational "Unstoppable You" conference to York County on Saturday, Nov. 10.

She said the purpose of the event, and of her nonprofit organization Unstoppable You Ministries, is to help people take responsibility for aligning their mind, body and soul and to achieve holistic health.

"If someone is extremely spiritual but they don’t work out, they don’t eat right, they don’t have a balanced diet," she said, "they could be spiritual all day long, but if their health fails, they’re off balance."

The first Unstoppable You conference was held in York County in November 2013. At the time, the event was open only to women, and 45 people attended. Since then, the conference has expanded into eight states.

Foxworthy has held a conference in York every year except 2017, and the events are now open to men as well.

"If you think about it, there’s all types of women’s conferences, but there’s nothing really geared toward men that they can go to," she said. "Now, it’s a family affair. Mom, dad, (and) teenagers can attend."

Foxworthy said the conference has a Christian, faith-based theme, but she wants people of all faiths, or of no faith, to feel welcome.

The Rev. Ramona Kinard from Wheatfield Church of the Living God will deliver a sermonette.

Other speakers will be Michelle Cooper, an advocate for victims of human trafficking and a special victim case manager for the YWCA; motivational speaker Quinn Howard; Jason E. Smith, president of JESSINC, a local contracting company; and Nakesha Muldrow, corporate senior director of patient access for WellSpan Health.

Muldrow, whose brother was fatally shot in Girard Park in 2016, will give a presentation on grief and loss.

Two men and two women from LifePath Christian Ministries homeless shelter will receive complimentary tickets and a full makeover, with two new outfits they'll be able to keep at the end of the day: one professional outfit for a job interview, and one evening outfit to be worn out for a celebration, a church service or even a date.

Foxworthy said the conference is diverse, and people from all backgrounds and walks of life are welcome.

"If people are looking for positivity, unity, diversity and empowerment, then this is the event that they need to be at," she said.

If you go: The Unstoppable You Conference will be held from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 10, in the Verandah Banquet Hall of the York Expo Center, 334 Carlisle Avenue, York, PA 17404. Tickets are $25 to $45 and can be purchased online at unstoppableyouministriesinc.org
