The York Fair is offering free admission and parking for everyone on Sunday, Sept. 9, organizers announced.

The gates open at noon, and fair organizers ask that people enter through gates 1, 4 or 6. Closing time is 9 p.m.

Rides and games on the Midway and Kiddie Kingdom will be closed for safety reasons, the fair said in an email, and there might be a limited number of food vendors and commercial exhibits open.
