Flash flood watch for York County
The York Dispatch
York County is under a flash flood watch along with the rest of southcentral Pennsylvania on Sunday, July 22.
York, Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon and Perry counties are under a flash flood watch until 11 p.m. Sunday, the National Weather Service said.
Saturday's rains left the ground saturated in many areas, and more rain in the afternoon and evening could produce flash flooding, the NWS said.
York will see showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 3 p.m. Sunday, with some storms producing heavy rain, the service said. The rain will continue overnight.
Rain is in the forecast every day until Friday, with highs in the low 80s and lows in the low 70s, the NWS said.
